GARITH FULHAM

BOARD MEMBER

Garith Fulham is the Director of Communications & Development for Mercy Housing and Shelter Corp. along with My Sisters’ Place, Inc. in Hartford, Connecticut. His areas of expertise in the non-profit sector include fundraising, public policy and community engagement. He has been working to help the most vulnerable populations in our country for more than 25 years.

He has dedicated his life to advocating for equality and serving those in need. Prior to his current position, Garith served as the Midwest and New England Director of Public Policy & Advocacy for AIDS Healthcare Foundation and the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland.

Garith has founded multiple organizations and has served on numerous non-profit boards. Currently, besides serving on the Nana’s Tribe board, he volunteers for Funktion Foundation and is a Commissioner for the City of Hartford, Connecticut.

Garith is a proud New Englander who considers Cleveland his second home.  He currently resides in Old Saybrook, CT with his husband, Mark Zinni, who is a news anchor and their dog Ellie.
